The ED White Commanders were the 73-62 winner over the Sandalwood Saints when they last played one another back in January of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. ED White fell 62-51 to Sandalwood on Tuesday. ED White has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, ED White still got an impressive performance from Keith Godboldt, who scored 15 points along with nine rebounds and four steals. That's the first time this season that Godboldt pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamal Scott, who scored 17 points along with four steals.
Even though they lost, ED White were smashing the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
ED White has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Sandalwood, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. ED White will play host again and welcome Riverside, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sandalwood will be home for the holidays to greet University Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
