Dixon was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from sixth to fourth in Golden Empire League. The Rams defeated Mira Loma 16-13 earlier in the week.
Dixon and the Matadors played the most contested game in the league this week, with Dixon eventually emerging with a 16-13 victory.
Tanner Minton put up the best numbers through the air as Mesa Verde lost to Colfax. He finished with 10 completions for 182 yards and 1 touchdown. Minton's favorite target this week was Bryan Webster, who caught 4 passes for 86 yards.
