Northridge had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 35-point drubbing they dealt Northside on Friday. The Northridge Knights simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Northside Mustangs 65-30. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 20 points or more this season.

The win was the fifth in a row for Northridge, bringing their record for this year to 18-5. As for Northside, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-16.

Northridge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 68-67 victory against St. Joseph on the 1st. As for Northside, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Alcott at 5:00 p.m. on February 11th.
