A well-balanced attack led Ogallala over Maywood/Hayes Center in every quarter on their way to victory on Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Ogallala Indians blew the Maywood/Hayes Center Wolves out of the water with a 78-38 final score. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 27 points or more this season.

Maywood/Hayes Center lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Oliver Anders, who posted seven points and five rebounds. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Kody Schwenk, who earned six points.

Ogallala's victory was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.9 points over those games. As for Maywood/Hayes Center, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-8.

Looking ahead, Ogallala will welcome Gering at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Ogallala's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Maywood/Hayes Center, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 58-30 win against Wauneta-Palisade on the 14th.
