Meanwhile, after soaring to 55 points the game before, Carson City-Crystal were a bit more limited in their contest on Wednesday. They were outmatched by Sacred Heart Academy on the road and fell 76-23. While losing is never fun, Carson City-Crystal can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 528th, while Sacred Heart Academy is ranked 112th).
Merrill's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Carson City-Crystal, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
