Rockwall, which finished with five wins overall, good for best in the league. The Yellowjackets beat the Stallions 11-1 and
Highland Park 10-5.
North Mesquite's pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing 12 hits and seven walks to lead the league in both categories.
The Stallions'
Hunter Benavidez was locked in this week, and led the league with a .429 average (3-for-7) over that span. He's batting .326 on the year, which puts him at seventh in the league. Benavidez has 14 hits total this season.
Starks threw a shutout as he led North Mesquite to victory over
