Littlerock is 8-2 against Antelope Valley since December of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Littlerock Lobos' road trip will continue as they head out to face the Antelope Valley Antelopes at 6:30 p.m. on January 17th. Hopefully Littlerock focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Monday.
Last Monday, Littlerock was able to grind out a solid win over Fairfax, taking the game 55-42. With that victory, Littlerock brought their scoring average up to 50.1 points per game.
Littlerock's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from William Young Jr., who scored 21 points along with five assists and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Sean Morgan, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Antelope Valley suffered their biggest defeat since December 15, 2023 on Monday. They had to suffer through a rough 75-40 loss at the hands of Palisades. While losing is never fun, Antelope Valley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1094th, while Palisades is ranked 453rd).
Littlerock's victory bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Antelope Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-15.
Littlerock beat Antelope Valley 61-51 when the teams last played back in December of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Littlerock since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
