On Friday, The Utica Eisenhower Eagles faced the Clarkston Wolves in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Utica Eisenhower enjoyed a cozy 36-19 victory over Clarkston. The win was familiar territory for Utica Eisenhower who now have five in a row.
Utica Eisenhower was led to victory by Conner Temple and Preston Crum. Temple picked up 143 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while Crum threw for 239 yards and three touchdowns. Kamari Charles and his 102 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Utica Eisenhower's win.
Utica Eisenhower's victory was their ninth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 8-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 33.4 points per game. As for Clarkston, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.
