The Jordan Warriors will head out on the road to square off against the Seven Lakes Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Jordan has struggled recently with four losses in a row, while Seven Lakes will arrive with 15 straight victories.
Last Tuesday, Jordan came up short against Cinco Ranch and fell 47-35. While losing is never fun, Jordan can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 635th, while Cinco Ranch is ranked 177th).
Meanwhile, Seven Lakes stacked a 19th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They breezed by Mayde Creek on the road to the tune of 87-45. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Seven Lakes has posted since December 27, 2023.
Jordan has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost ten of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-20 record this season. As for Seven Lakes, they pushed their record up to 23-8 with that win, which was their sixth straight on the road.
Jordan might still be hurting after the 67-46 defeat they got from Seven Lakes in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Can Jordan avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
