The Holy Trinity Titans will be playing in front of their home fans against the St. Francis Prep Terriers at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
Holy Trinity's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Sunday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 41-14 loss at the hands of St. Anthony's. While losing is never fun, Holy Trinity can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 50th, while St. Anthony's is ranked first).
Meanwhile, St. Francis Prep came up short against Holy Cross on Sunday and fell 20-12. St. Francis Prep has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Although St. Francis Prep took the loss, they still got scores from Sebastian Quartarolo and Tommy Zullo.
Holy Trinity has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for St. Francis Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
