If the North Forest Bulldogs were feeling good off their 58-21 takedown of the Scarborough Spartans last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. North Forest was outmatched by Wheatley on the road and fell 66-28. North Forest has struggled against Wheatley recently, as their game on Monday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
It was another big night for Jahannah Roberson, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 steals for Wheatley. Roberson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed four or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Autumn Breedlove, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds.
North Forest dropped their record down to 6-14 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 23.2 points per game. As for Wheatley, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-12 record this season.
