The Glencoe Yellowjackets''s four-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 48-28 margin over West End. The victory was just what Glencoe needed coming off of a 54-7 loss in their prior matchup.
Aaron Mann went supernova for Glencoe, rushing for 169 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.0 yards per carry. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Patton, who picked up 95 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Rocko Sainsbury and Triston Chaney certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Sainsbury rushed for 120 yards and a touchdown, while Chaney picked up 81 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Glencoe's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for West End, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.
Glencoe does not have any more games scheduled as of now. West End will head out on the road to face off against Fyffe at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fyffe is coming into the contest hot, having won their last nine games.
