Cathedral is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Indianapolis Scecina Memorial 100-38. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 59-12.

Brady Koehler continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 12 of 16 en route to 28 points in addition to six boards and three blocks. That's the most points he has posted since back in January of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of R'Mani Wells, who went 8 for 12 on his way to 18 points and six rebounds.
Cathedral was working as a unit and finished the game with 26 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Purdue Polytechnic waltzed into their contest on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 59-57 victory over the Warriors. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Techies have posted since December 12, 2023.
Purdue Polytechnic's win came from a few key players Cathedral will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Tj Williams, who went 7 of 12 en route to 19 points and five boards. His evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Damion Green was another key player, putting up seven points along with nine rebounds and seven blocks.
Purdue Polytechnic has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.6 points per game. As for Cathedral, their victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-4.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Cathedral has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 29.1 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Purdue Polytechnic struggles in that department as they've been averaging 27.5 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
