Harker Heights extended their winning streak  to five  on Friday, bumping them up to 7-2. They took down the Shoemaker Wolves 28-10. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
 Harker Heights' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Jaylen Mason, who rushed for 149 yards and two  TDs while picking up 7.1 yards per carry. Mason's rushing production has been exceptional  as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 123  rushing yards.  Hudson Humble was another key signal caller, throwing for 341 yards and a pair of  touchdowns while completing 90.9% of his passes.
As for Shoemaker,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 7-3. The  contest marked their lowest-scoring  matchup so far this season.
 Despite the loss, Shoemaker still got an impressive performance from   De'Mani Dail-Addison, who rushed for 84 yards and one  score on only ten carries, and also threw for 232 yards  on 16 of 23 attempts. A healthy portion of  Dail-Addison's aerial production (80 yards to be exact)  went to  Tano Wooten.
 Looking ahead, Harker Heights will challenge Temple at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Knights will need to watch out since the Wildcats have now posted at least 31  points  in their last three games. Shoemaker does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
