Conway Springs took a hard 51-32 fall against Haven. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Conway Springs in their matchups with Haven: they've now lost five in a row.
Conway Springs' lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Raylee Chitwood, who scored 8 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Morgan Koester, who scored 5 points along with 5 rebounds.
Conway Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Haven, they have yet to lose a matchup on the road this season, leaving them with a 3-1 record.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Conway Springs will take on Caldwell at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Caldwell is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Haven, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Nickerson at 6:00 p.m. Nickerson will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Kansas Rankings (they are ranked 249th, while Haven is ranked 64th).
