Creating Young Minds Academy kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They received a tough blow as they fell 73-59 to ISchool of Lewisville. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
ISchool of Lewisville's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was David Iweze, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds. Jaylen Lawal was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with six assists and five rebounds.
ISchool of Lewisville is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-11 record this season.
Creating Young Minds Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for iSchool of Lewisville, they will be playing at home against Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
