Softball Recap: Almont Snaps Eight-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Almont let Brooklyn Bunch and Lauren Webster run wild. Bunch went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run, while Webster went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Those three hits gave Webster a new career-high.

Almont's win ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-6-1. As for Davison, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9.

Looking ahead, Almont will be playing at home against Croswell-Lexington at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Davison, they will head out on the road to square off against Bay City Western at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cardinals are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
