Marquette Catholic was led to victory by Natalie Robinson and Laniah Davis. Robinson scored 13 points along with five rebounds, while Davis scored 11 points along with four steals. The match was Davis' 15th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Livia Balling, who scored six points.
Marquette Catholic pushed their record up to 17-2 with that victory, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 29.67 points. As for Trinity, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.
Marquette Catholic will head out on the road to face off against Bowman Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Trinity, they will be playing at home against Lighthouse College Prep Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Lighthouse College Prep Academy comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 15 points in their last six games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
