Taylorsville is 1-9 against West Jordan since February of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Taylorsville Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the West Jordan Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Taylorsville beat Hunter 66-54.
Bronson Dallimore was his usual excellent self, scoring 27 points along with eight rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Kobe Allen was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with five assists.
Meanwhile, West Jordan scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Granger, posting a 65-28 victory at home. That 37 points margin sets a new team best for West Jordan this season.
Taylorsville's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-7. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for West Jordan, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-10.
Taylorsville couldn't quite finish off West Jordan when the teams last played back in February of 2021 and fell 49-46. Can Taylorsville avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
