Refugio is 10-0 against Ganado since October of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Refugio Bobcats will take on the Ganado Indians at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Refugio walked away with it. They blew past the Wildcats, posting a 42-14 win on the road. Winning may never get old, but Refugio sure are getting used to it with their 12th in a row.
Meanwhile, Ganado entered their tilt with Holland with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Ganado took their match at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 50-22 win over Holland.
Bryce Ullman was his usual excellent self, throwing for 288 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.0 yards per attempt, and also punching in a touchdown on the ground. Luke Bures was another key contributor, picking up 113 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Refugio pushed their record up to 12-1 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Ganado, their win bumped their record up to 11-2.
Refugio took their victory against Ganado in their previous matchup on November 3rd by a conclusive 30-7. Does Refugio have another victory up their sleeve, or will Ganado turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
