The biggest upset of the week belonged to Macksville, who took down 27th ranked Macksville, 42-32. Tyson Espinosa ran for 320 yards in the win.
Central Plains suffered a letdown when it was bounced from the state Top 25 this week after falling to Pretty Prairie. The Oilers had been ranked 25th, but fell to 43 following the defeat.
Kinsley's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Nathan Frame threw for 82 and two touchdowns and Gustavo Chavez had 63 yards receiving. Weston Coss helped Kinsley's passing attack out by catching one ball for 19 yards.
Will Frusher made the biggest impact on defense this week as Ness City beat Hoxie. The senior pulled down one interception.
The Coyotes' Frame and Chavez have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Central Prairie (8 Man) in both passing and receiving yards. Frame has thrown for 1126 yards this season, while Chavez, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 34 catches for 687 yards. Otis-Bison's Dylan Wissman leads the league in rushing yards with 882.
The Eagles extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Indians, 38-6. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.
