Glynn Academy was the 2-0 winner over Calvary Day when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Terrors fell just short of the Cavaliers by a score of 2-1 on Monday. While the Terrors didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Cavaliers 25-18 in the first set.
Glynn Academy actually scored more points across those three sets (60-58), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-23, 15-12.
Glynn Academy now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Calvary Day, they pushed their record up to 2-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.
Coincidentally, Glynn Academy and Calvary Day will both be playing Richmond Hill the next time they take the court. The Terrors will host the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Cavaliers will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
