There's no place like home for Monroe, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past the Whitewater Whippets, posting a 42-6 victory. Given the Cheesemakers' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin football rankings (they are ranked 131st, while the Whippets are ranked 352nd) , the win on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Monroe's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Whitewater, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
