The Paschal Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight loss. They were beaten by Boswell 76-33. Paschal was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-15.
Camille Williams was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 12 assists for Boswell. Williams has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 16 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Salena Carrasco, who scored 17 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Paschal's loss was their ninth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-18. As for Boswell, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 20 of their last 23 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 28-5 record this season.
Paschal will be playing in front of their home fans against Trinity at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Trinity presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Paschal in Texas (Trinity is ranked 296th, while Paschal is ranked 923rd). As for Boswell, they will head out on the road to square off against North Crowley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
