The Norland Vikings had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They strolled past De La Salle with points to spare, taking the game 63-44.
Marcus Allen was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. Allen is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Caleb Clarke was another key contributor, scoring 18 points.
Norland's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for De La Salle, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.
Norland won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Olympia at 7:00 p.m. on December 30, 2023. Olympia has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 454 points over their last seven games. De La Salle won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Florida State University High School at 5:00 p.m. on December 30, 2023. Hopefully Florida State University High School focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Friday.
