The Sylvan-Lucas Mustangs will head out on the road to square off against the Thunder Ridge Longhorns at 5:00 p.m. Sylvan-Lucas is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last seven games.
Sylvan-Lucas stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They blew past Stockton 54-23 at home.
Meanwhile, Thunder Ridge beat Logan/Palco on Tuesday by the very same score they won with last week: 45-37. The win made it back-to-back wins for Thunder Ridge.
Sylvan-Lucas pushed their record up to 12-3 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points per game. As for Thunder Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4.
Sylvan-Lucas strolled past Thunder Ridge in their previous meeting on Friday by a score of 52-34. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sylvan-Lucas since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
