Orangeburg Prep's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Latron Moorer led the charge by scoring 15 points. That's the first time this season that Moorer scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jay Plummer, who scored 12 points.
Orangeburg Prep has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Thomas Sumter Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-12.

As for Thomas Sumter Academy, they will be playing at home against Northside Christian Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Northside Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six games.
