After soaring high against Washington last Friday, Icarus fell to the ground on Friday. Marion weren't too far behind, but the team still lost 21-25 to West Delaware. Marion was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as West Delaware apparently hadn't forgotten their loss from the last time the teams met up.
The defeat dropped Marion's record to 1-0. The win bumped West Delaware's record up to 1-0.
Next week, Marion take on Solon at 7:30 PM. As for West Delaware, they will face off against Mt. Vernon.
