Perhaps the best among them was Kishann Smith, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Smith has been hot recently, having posted 17 or more points the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Damian Brooks, who scored seven points along with eight assists and eight steals.
Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Perryville's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They were beaten by Elkton 75-44. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Perryville has scored all season.
Joppatowne has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Perryville, their loss dropped their record down to 11-6.
