There wasn't a ton of movement in the power rankings this week, but there was certainly enough to keep things interesting. A special shoutout goes to American Fork's senior Boone Abbott, who scored six total touchdowns in the team's most recent match.

American Fork's 48 - 21 win over Pleasant Grove last week had a lot to do with the leadership of senior Boone Abbott. Abbott threw for 449 yards and five touchdowns. In fact, our algorithms singled out Abbott as one of the top players in the power rankings for the week.

The battle between East (ranked 4th in the power rankings) and Riverton (ranked 12th) turned out to be a somewhat underwhelming competition. Everything went East's way against Riverton as it secured a 56 - 21 win. The MaxPreps rankings were spot on as they projected East as the clear winner.
