The Empire Ravens suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Monday. They took a serious blow against Tombstone, falling 62-6. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Empire has scored all season.
TALISSA DURAN was Empire's leading scorer, having posted three points.
ELLA KARHOFF held things down on the boards with six rebounds. She took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with an assist.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Tombstone to victory, but perhaps none more so than Emma Rivera, who scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Jayden Penrose, who scored 11 points.
Empire's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Tombstone, they now have a winning record of 11-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Empire will take on Safford at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tombstone won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Bisbee at 5:30 p.m. on January 16th.
