Gerstell Academy has been on the road for four straight, but on Wednesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the St. John's Catholic Prep Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Gerstell Academy can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They blew past Severn School 51-25. That's two games straight that Gerstell Academy has won by exactly 26 points.
Meanwhile, St. John's Catholic Prep earned a 66-53 win over the Gators on Wednesday.
St. John's Catholic Prep's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Isabella Wilson led the charge by scoring 26 points. Nadia Ferguson was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Gerstell Academy is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. As for St. John's Catholic Prep, their win bumped their record up to 11-9.
