Bison will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Newell in at 7:00 PM. Bison will be strutting in after a win while Newell will be stumbling in from a loss.
Bison had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They blew past Dupree 34-0.
Meanwhile,, Newell couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 6-35 walloping at Hill City hands. Newell were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-35.
Newell's defeat took them down to 0-1 while Bison's victory pulled them up to write [team] current record. A win for Newell would reverse both their bad luck and Bison's good luck. We'll see if Newell manages to pull off that tough task or if Bison keeps their momentum going instead.
