On Friday ASU Prep will take on Arizona Lutheran Academy at 7:00 PM. ASU Prep come in off of three low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the squad is obviously eager to reverse.
ASU Prep have been struggling to pick up a win, with their game against Santa Cruz Valley last Friday making it three winless games in a row. ASU Prep were completely outmatched, falling 0-81 to Santa Cruz Valley. The state rankings had actually given ASU Prep a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
Meanwhile, Arizona Lutheran Academy came into their this week averaging 41.5 points per game, but Arizona Lutheran Academy fell well short of that average, and it cost them. They were dealt a punishing 0-56 loss at the hands of Phoenix Christian. Arizona Lutheran Academy were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-28.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the victory. Hopefully the teams can find a way to make up for their last outings by putting some points on the board this time.
