The matchup between Gibbon and Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] on Friday hardly resembled the 25-24 effort from their previous meeting. The Gibbon Buffaloes might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] an easy 66-46 victory. The defeat leaves the Buffaloes without a win on the season.

Gibbon's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brooke Sell, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. That's the most points Sell has posted since back in January. Another player making a difference was Claire Clark, who posted 14 points and seven rebounds.

Even though they lost, Gibbon was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Gibbon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood], their win ended a 14-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-6.
