Sandhills Valley's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Kyle Kramer, who almost dropped a triple-double on nine points, 14 rebounds, and ten blocks, and Cooper Layher who scored 12 points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Layher has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Braden Powell, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Sandhills/Thedford's record is now 8-4. Sandhills Valley's record now sits at 5-5.
Sandhills/Thedford didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Sandhills Valley in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, but they still walked away with a 45-40 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sandhills/Thedford since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
