The Halifax Academy Vikings scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Kerr-Vance Academy as Halifax Academy made off with a 77-54 win. The victory was just what Halifax Academy needed coming off of a 71-36 loss in their prior match.
Thad Harris continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 33 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Peoples, who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds and five assists.
Halifax Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-15. As for Kerr-Vance Academy, they dropped their record down to 3-13 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.
Halifax Academy will challenge Lawrence Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Kerr-Vance Academy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Fayetteville Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 24th. One thing working in Fayetteville Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six games.
