Baseball Recap: Central Victorious

Central hadn't done well against Kennett recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Tigers came out on top against the Indians by a score of 9-6. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Jathan Spain was a standout: he went 1-for-3 with three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Zade Hickey, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 4-8. As for Kennett, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.

Central has already played their next match (against Poplar Bluff), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Kennett, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 6-5 loss against Dyer County on the 22nd.
