Reed hadn't done well against McQueen recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Raiders blew past the Lancers 3-0. The contest marked the Raiders' most dominant win of the season.

One reason for the win was Reed's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-18, 25-16.

Jaxsynn Bailey paced Reed's offense, picking up ten kills. Bailey got some help from TeLaukie Pedro-Cabanada and her 25 assists. Bailey was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

When it comes to explaining why McQueen lost, don't look at Nya Lagrone. Despite the final result, she had ten digs.

Reed's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-7. As for McQueen, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season.
