Dowell is becoming a predictor of the Lancers' success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is undefeated (and 1-2 when he doesn't). Jalil Coates was Dowell's top target, picking up 25 receiving yards.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Loyalsock Township was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 245 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 212 rushing yards in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Warrior Run). They blew past North Penn-Mansfield, posting a 55-6 win. With the Defenders ahead 49-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Warrior Run's win came from a few key players Loyalsock Township will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Cohen Zechman, who picked up 175 receiving yards and three scores. His longest reception was for an incredible 80 yards. Denyn Beachel was another key player, rushing for 110 yards and a pair of TDs on only nine carries.

Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Loyalsock Township has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 180 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Warrior Run struggles in that department as they've been averaging 177.7 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Loyalsock Township ended up a good deal behind Warrior Run in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, losing 21-7. Thankfully for the Lancers, Eli Butler (who rushed for 127 yards and three touchdowns) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
