Germantown is a perfect 10-0 against Brookfield East since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Warhawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Spartans at 4:30 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Germantown 2.6, Brookfield East 2.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Germantown turned things around against Pulaski on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Red Raiders 6-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Warhawks have posted since April 3rd.

Alaina Williams spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and four unearned) runs on eight hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Germantown got a big performance out of Kayla Preiss, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Ally Pentek was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Brookfield East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Brookfield Central.

Brookfield East saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Annie Bennington, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Brookfield East's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Germantown, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.

Germantown skirted past Brookfield East 3-2 in their previous meeting on April 3rd. Do the Warhawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Spartans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
