Despite the loss, Jefferson had strong showings from Grace Strong, who scored ten points along with three steals, and Camryn Hosick, who scored eight points.
Jefferson's loss was their 15th straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-9. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 29.5 points per game. As for Sioux City West, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-5.
Jefferson will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Albert at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. St. Albert is coming into the match hot, having won their last nine games. Sioux City West will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bishop Heelan Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on January 30th.
