Acelynn-Rose Heston was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). What's more, she gave up only one walk, the fewest she's had since back in April. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases.
Heston wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Shaylee Fuell, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases.
