After losing to Caston the last time they met, Northfield decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Norsemen walked away with a 2-0 win over the Comets on Saturday.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Northfield was: they took both sets by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-6.

Northfield's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bella Myers, who had 13 digs and one assist. Another player making a difference was Brinlei Swihart, who had 15 assists and three digs.

Northfield was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in four consecutive games.

Northfield's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Caston, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Looking ahead, Northfield will take on Mississinewa at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Caston, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against North Miami on the 23rd.
