This season hasn't been kind to the Central Christian Academy Cougars, who are still winless after their fifth contest. They took a 51-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Banff. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Central Christian Academy of the 42-36 defeat they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2023.
Leading Banff to victory were Vinnie Chu and Martin Cook. Chu almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds, while Cook dropped a double-double on 20 points and 20 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cook has scored all season.
Central Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Banff, their win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-16.
Central Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Banff will head out on the road to challenge the Cougars at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
