On Friday, The Hibriten Panthers''s game was all tied up 14-14 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They enjoyed a cozy 28-14 win over South Caldwell. Hibriten didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this victory makes it their second in a row.
When it comes to explaining why South Caldwell lost, one person who can't be blamed is Zack Freeman. Despite the final result, he rushed for 184 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.7 yards per carry. Freeman was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 66 yards.
Hibriten's win bumped their record up to 5-5. As for South Caldwell, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
Hibriten will be playing in front of their home fans against Tuscola at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. South Caldwell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
