Negaunee won the last time they faced Sault Area and things went their way on Saturday too. The Miners came out on top against the Blue Devils by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Miners.

Negaunee's victory bumped their record up to 17-6-2. As for Sault Area, they dropped their record down to 8-12-2 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Coincidentally, Negaunee and Sault Area will both be playing St. Ignace the next time they take the court. The Blue Devils will head out to face the Saints at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Miners will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
