They claimed a resounding 54-19 victory over Arete Prep on the road. The victory was nothing new for Scottsdale Preparatory Academy as they're now sitting on six straight.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Scottsdale Preparatory Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Maeve Morgan, who scored 14 points along with seven steals. Morgan has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last eight times she's played. Sarah Hurley was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with seven rebounds.
Scottsdale Preparatory Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Arete Prep, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Scottsdale Preparatory Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Arizona Lutheran Academy at 2:30 p.m. on January 6, 2024. Arete Prep will be home for the holidays to greet Tempe Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Tempe Prep is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
