Baseball Game Preview: Eastland Mavericks vs. Early Longhorns

For the second straight game, Eastland will face off against Early. Eastland will take on Early at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Eastland fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Early on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Longhorns by a score of 5-4. The Mavericks have struggled against the Longhorns recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

For Early's part, Skyden Stoddart was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.

Early moved to 4-10 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Eastland, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8-2.
