The Towns County Indians lost against the Lake Oconee Academy Titans last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Towns County took a 48-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Titans. Towns County has not had much luck with the Titans recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Despite the loss, Towns County still got an impressive performance from Kaleigh Beaver, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Beaver has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ansleigh Hardin, who scored four points along with five rebounds.
Towns County's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-7. As for Lake Oconee Academy, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 14-7.
Towns County will head out on the road to square off against the Screaming Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Warren County will be looking to keep their ten-game home win streak alive. Lake Oconee Academy will take on the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Greene County is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games.
